Orthodontic Training Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes completed her specialty training in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Baylor College of Dentistry. She received a Clinical Certificate in Orthodontics as well as a Master of Science in Biology. Her Master's thesis, "Postsurgical growth changes in the mandible of adolescents with vertical maxillary excess growth pattern," was published in the February 2001 issue of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. |

| Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes was the sole recipient of the prestigious Faculty Achievement Award and Texas Association of Orthodontists Outstanding Senior Resident Award from Baylor College of Dentistry. | ||
Dental Training
Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Baylor College of Dentistry as the highest-ranking graduate in her class. Other honors awarded while attending Baylor College of Dentistry include:

Undergraduate Education
Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes is a graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas and received her Bachelor of Science in microbiology with Suma Cum Laude honors. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society, Tri Beta National Biological Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and was selected for Rhodes Scholarship Application. Dr. Mojdehi-Barnes grew up in Harlingen, Texas where she attended Valley Baptist Academy.
